Coronary Angioplasty

A technique that is used to dilate an area of arterial blockage with the help of a catheter having a small, inflatable balloon at its tip.

Atherectomy

Athorectomies may be classified as rotational or directional, depending on the ...

Coronary Stenting

A technique based on coronary angioplasty but includes a stent—a small, stainless-steel tube mounted on the balloon catheter in a "crimped" or collapsed state. When the balloon is inflated, the stent expands or opens up and pushes itself against the inner wall of the coronary artery, thereby holding the artery open when the balloon is deflated and removed.

Peripheral Vascular Intervention

A technique that involves angioplasty and stenting of obstructions in large, non-cardiac arteries in the limbs.

Electrophysiology

A family of techniques that includes treatment of cardiac rhythmic disorders through the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators, medical devices designed to regulate the beating of the heart.  We perform radio-frequency ablation, a non-surgical, catheter-based procedure used to treat some types of rapid heart rhythms.
